Prasiolite Quartz (man-made color) - $1.00/carat - On Sale
Locality: BrazilGreen Quartz

The color of this material is a nice green with some blue tones.

This material is the top grade and much better color than most commercial Prasiolite that you might see.

The color is all a nice green and is dark enough to not wash out when cut with no grey tones.

This material finishes a nice good color green (blue/green highlights) stone and will work well in about any designs and hold it's color when faceted. Ideally I think this color works well in deeper designs and Barions. This is irradiated, like all this material. The color of this material is stable and irradiated, as well as maybe heated, they will not say exactly what the treatment process is but it is color stable.

Most of this material is clean and or will cut clean, but there will be some flaws occasionally. This is great practice rough and at the price it is hard to beat.

Bulk Ametrine - $0.30/ct
Locality: Bolivia
Ametrine

This material is getting very difficult to get now a days. This is just some old material from old parcels and the pricing is all old too. This has been cobbed, but there are flaws and typical bubble lines to work around in this material. But at the price I am selling it for this material has some very nice cutting in it.

The colors tend to be light to medium/light in saturation and there are some pieces that will cut with both colors clean, there are quite a few pieces that would be what they call "blended" and there will some that will cut Amethyst or Citrine... I do not have a lot of this material so first come first serve.

Peach/Green Tourmaline - $3 to $20/carat
Locality: Nigeria, AfricaNigerian Green/Peach Tourmaline

On SALE
2 to 5 stones 15% off
5 or more stones 25% off

The color of this material is grass green with a very slight peach tone. A lot of this material is a very nice peach/orange color on the "c" axis.

This material is from a new mine in Nigeria and from what I was told only produced a little bit of material. So there is not likely to be very much more of this unique Tourmaline on the market.

This Tourmaline makes a very nice stone in about any design. The "c" axis on most of these crystals is peach/orange, which is typical of this material.

But because the color is all pretty medium/light in saturation and the grass green is strong on those stones that have that color on the "c" axis will not have much effect on finished stones. The peach/orange material will cut very nice and interesting stones in about any design.

Currently Available:
$3 to $9/carat
1 each 6.74 carats - $26.96 yellow/green, peach "c" best cut oval - 8.5mm x 12mm x 7.5mm deep

1 each 7.13 carats - $71.30 70% green/30% peach best cut 'Smith Bar" - 7.9mm x 13.5mm x 5.8mm deep

TourmalineTourmalineIndicolite - $10/carat
Locality: Africa

I only have a limited supply for this material. When I sell this material it is gone.

As you can see this material is blue to blue/green and the saturation is OK but a little bit dark. So the best designs are like my "Simply Simple" (pictured), "Smith Bar", and checker boards. None of this rough is all that large so over saturation is not going to be a problem.

$8/ct - Parcels Currently Available:
21.30 carats mixed blue, blue/green @ $170.40 - 9 stones
