Huge Mauve (Pinkish/Red) Zircon - $60/carat
Locality: Tanzania, Africa
This Zircon is quite large, I seldom ever see one that will cut over a few carats in this type of high Zircon. The color is pink/red with maybe a very slight metallic copper tint depending on the light. This will cut a very large and unusual colored stone. It would make a very nice cushion or square cushion, I would consider a mixed cut like one of my Sapphire cuts in Addition #7 (Ceylon Blue or Deeply Ceylon Blue).
