These stones are a very nice orange/yellow, yellow/gold to light yellow color, which is why I call them butterscotch.The tonal range varies depending on the individual piece, and they are a little more intense as they get larger. I like this material in about any design, but as the stones get larger I think brilliant cuts work best, also checker boards are nice.

Note: These are not pure yellow like the heated Same material, if you want canary yellow these stones will not work. If you want a beautiful butterscotch color then this material is what you want.
Note2: This rough tends to look a little tan when rough, because the rind is oxidized a bit.
