Zambian Tourmaline Nodules - $3 to $50/carat
Locality: Zambia, Africa

This material is all water worn nodules, and will cut with very good yields. The colors range a bit from a light yellow green to a blue/Kelly green to pink/Rubellite. Satutration on almost all of this rough is medium light to medium dark and easy to work with.

A lot of this material has a thin green rind, that will cut off easily with no trouble.

Please note that I have "hand cleaned" the rind off of quite a few of these stones.

Although sometimes unusual when finished all thse colors are nice. Almost any good Tourmaline design will work well in this material.
