Hot Pink / Rubellite - $30 to $60/carat

As we all know this material is really gotten very difficult to get, especially the very pure colors with no darker or peach tones in the pinks and Rubellites.

I only have a limited supply for this material and frankly my advice is do not hesitate because if you do you will not get any of this. When I sell this material it is probably gone for good and I doubt you will ever get another chance at this color.

This material color wise is as good as it gets and the shapes are all hand cleaned and very close to ideal. So there will be very little waste on these pieces.

Candy Pink/Peach Nigerian Tourmaline - $20 to $60/carat
Locality: Nigeria, Africa

This material is from a new mine in Nigeria, unfortuately at this point it looks like it may have been just a very small one pocket type of find. The miners are already talking about moving on to better locations. This material is Nigerian, but it's colors are a bit different than what most people who are familiar with the other Nigerian mines might expect. This material is light imperial peach pink to medium hot peach/red and looks candy apple color with some gold and pinks as well as some bi colors. The colors are very pure and exceptionally bright, not like typical Nigerian material which tends to be deeper color and not as adamantine.

Note: This rough has been hand cleaned, most of the pieces have been skinned and/or faced.

Padongare Tourmaline - $6 to $16/ct
Locality: Africa, Nigeria
This material is from Nigeria, the Padongare region. This is from a fairly new mine and the material is all pretty nice.

All of these stones are alluvial and many of them are nodules. There are some tumbled type crystals.

The colors range from a yellow/green to blue/geen, teal, salmon, orange, and pink.

All of this material is open on all axis's and can be cut for yield in almost all cases.

This is really very good cutting and this material cuts nice open colors and bright finished stones.

The greens from this mine are not typically like green's from other mines, they are bright and open, as well as open "c" axis stones.
