Huge Top open Pink Color Tourmaline - $200/carat

This is top open axis pink color Tourmaline. Very rare and very hard to find. The vast majority of Tourmaline has a very strong a/b to "c" axis color change (dichroism) and is usually not a good mix. This piece is slightly stronger on the "c" but also pink on the a/b as well and will cut an out standing stone on the "c" axis which is also the best yield, that does not happen very often.

1 each 86.88 carats - $17, 276.00 - Top open pink, best cut is cushion - 24mm x 22.4mm x 18.8mm deep

Note: I know not a cheap stone but do the math, assume 40 carat yield (a good cutter should get that at least)... That means the stone costs $431.90/carat. I can just about promise you will never find one this quality cut and if you did the whole sale asking price would be quite a lot more than $400/carat cut. There are no guarantees in life but if you want a top stone this is it.

This is a nice open yellow green, almost a moss green. There is a slight peach towards one tip. This is clean and priced well, if you want to cut a large Tourmaline.

This is veryn ice and will cut an intense pink/hot pink/red stone. The color on the "c" axis is absolutely top Rubellite, the a/b is a very nice redish/pink/purple. This will cut a top stone.

This is top material and will cut a very nice hot pink to pink, the crystal lightens towards one end. The color on the "c" axis is absolutely top Rubellite, the a/b is a very nice hot pink. This will cut a top stone.
