Tanzanite YAG - $.38/carat
Locality: USA
This blue/lavender YAG cuts a very diamond like stone and can be cut in just about any design or size. This material unlike cubic zirconia is suited for a beginner. It is man-made Garnet and cuts and polishes with little difficulty. All measurements are approximante.
Note: I hand select this rough for the lighter color, because it becomes too saturated other wise.
