Because of it's very high refractive index this material can really alomost out sparkle a diamond. This is not for a beginner because it can be difficult to cut and polish. About any design works great but a deep brilliant is ideal. Refractive Index of 2.61 to 2.9 and 6 to 6.5 hardness. Cleavage is usually no problem.
