I really do not cut man-made material very often, but a lot of people do, and I have to admit the finished stones are often very pretty. This is the color of a top quality yellow Sapphires, I would call it lemon drop yellow. This material is made in the USA. Sapphire needs to be polished with diamonds, these colors can be cut in just about any design... Although tempting because of price and color, I do not recommend this material for a new cutter, it is a bit tough to cut and polish for a novice.

Note: The Swiss material is a bit more money than the Russian and Chinese, but it has better and more consistant color plus it ususally cuts better too.
