This is the top hot red/purple color that is about the best there is in a natural stone. These boules are very large and hard to find in both size and color... Although tempting because of price and color, I do not recommend this material for a new cutter, it is a bit tough to cut and polish for a novice.

Man-Made Hot Cranberry (Sapphire) - $.10/carat

This is the top hot Cranberry color that is about the best there is in a natural stone. This material is made in the USA. Sapphire needs to be polished with diamonds, these colors can be cut in just about any design.

Although tempting because of price and color, I do not recommend this material for a new cutter, it is a bit tough to cut and polish for a novice.
