Man-Made Color Change Alanderite (Sapphire) - $.20/carat

This is plum color change Sapphire, it's a beautiful blue/purple/pink. This material is made in the USA. Sapphire needs to be polished with diamonds, these colors can be cut in just about any design.

Although tempting because of price and color, I do not recommend this material for a new cutter, it is a bit tough to cut and polish for a novice.
