Man-Made Burma Pink (Sapphire) - $.10/carat
Locality: USA
This is the top hot pink color that is about the best there is in a natural stone. These boules are a little longer and narrower than some of the other boules because of the process that is used to make this color. So keep in mind that these boules will cut slightly smaller stones... This material is made in the USA. Sapphire needs to be polished with diamonds, these colors can be cut in just about any design... Although tempting because of price and color, I do not recommend this material for a new cutter, it is a bit tough to cut and polish for a novice.
