Morogoro Purple Spinel - $175 to $400/carat

This is a huge purple Spinel, it looks like very nice quality Amethyst in color and is a good medium saturation. This material is not dark like a lot of large spinels are. This rough runs light to medium light color.

Note: This material can be very difficult, the shapes are always odd and there are always a lot of surface rinds and cracks to deal with. This material has been hand cleaned and skinned where needed so that the typical problems are gone.
