Huge Crystal Points Rose de France - $0.40/carat

This material is what is called hammered clean. Basically this is crystal points hammered out of large geodes. Instead of sawing the material they use hammers to clip of the bad edges and areas. This is very nice cutting and a bargain for the money size and clarity wise. This material is clean, there maybe an occasional spot but for the most part this material is very high clarity. The colors are pale to light pink/purple with some occasion almost rose colors. Really very nice.

I highly recommend this material for any new faceters or just some one that wants nice cutting material. A lot of bang for the buck.

Note: Some dealers call this "Medium to Light Color Amethyst" (from Bolivia or Brazil) and charge almost double the price for it than I do... but because it is light I prefer to call it "Rose de France" .
