Sawed Clean Rose de France - $.40 to .20/ct

This material has been sawed clean and is really a bargain at this price, almost all of the waste has been cut off. The sizes and shapes vary. The colors are medium/light and this material cuts a very pretty stone. Sizes range from 5 carats to 25 carats plus or minus a little, the average is 10-15 carats. There might be an occasional spot, but this material is clean in general.

Note: Some dealers would call this Amethyst, but because it is light I prefer "Rose de France" ... Parcel weights will vary a little depending on the stones...

Large Sawed Clean Rose de France - $.60 to .40/ct
Locality: Bolivia, South America

This material has been sawed clean and is really a bargain at this price, almost all of the waste has been cut off. The sizes and shapes vary. There is not much smaller than 30 carats and a lot of the pieces are over 100 carats, the average piece size is probably 40 to 60 carats at a guess.

The colors are medium/light and this material cuts a very pretty stone. There might be an occasional spot, but this material is clean in general.

Note: Some dealers would call this Amethyst, but because it is light I prefer "Rose de France" ... I like this material in about any design, but am partial to deep checker boards and Barions because the colors are light in saturation. There is a lot of very good cutting for the money here. Parcel weights will vary a little depending on the stones...

Extra Large Sawed Clean Rose de France - $.50/ct

This material has been sawed cleaned and Rose de France this large is difficult to find. I like this material in about any design, but am partial to deep checker boards and Barions. If you have never cut a large piece of this material you will be surprised at how pretty Rose de France can be when cut, especially in a large size.

The colors are medium/light and this material cuts a very pretty stone. There might be an occasional spot, but this material is clean in general.
