Oro Verde Quartz - $0.30 to $0.20/carat

The color of this material is a nice yellow green.

On a lot of what people call "Oro Verde" rough... It is dull color, often has a grey/black color tint to it and not bright like this material. Some material is also "sleepy" and has some clouds or silk. So be sure and look at the pictures or rough carefully.

This material is a little lighter in color and brighter than most Oro Verde material. NO grey/black tint or tone to the color of this rough.

Note: This material is all saw cleaned and it will not have the typical waste that uncleaned material or just crystals would have. Because it is saw cleaned the waste is gone and the yields will be higher.

This material is irradiated, like all this material. The color is stable. This material is sawed clean and because it is all large, it will work very well for about any application.

This is ideal proofing material for about any new design or just nice inexpensive cutting for a newbie cutter. Or for that matter just good cutting.

The color of this material is a nice honey gold and it cuts a nice stone.

This material is irradiated, and color stable.

I see that there are some people selling this material and not telling people it is irradiated. So be aware there are some not so honest people selling it.

This material should not be confused with the African material which is natural, with the exception of some possible heating. The African material looks similar, but not quite the same color.

All the Brazilian material that I know of is irradiated. Which accounts for the price, which should tip people off...
