Uruguayan "Extra" & "Extra Fine" Citrine Crystal Points - $1.75 to $4.00/carat

This is the deeply saturated material that is sometimes available. Uruguayan points come in several color grades, "Extra" and "Extra Fine" are the top colors.

This material is darker and richer in color than Irai material and is all crystal points so the yields will be very good. I have hand picked all of this rough. This material cuts a deep orange stone with red and gold highlights and there is not much else that will come close to matching it in color. I would recommend brilliant cuts, maybe a little bit on the deeper side.

Note: There is no such thing as "super extra" and I have seen several people selling a lower grade material as the "Extra Fine" so be aware of the differences.
