Ant Hill Chrome Pyrope Garnets - $0.60/carat to $0.30/carat
Locality: AZ, USA
The color of this material is chrome Pyrope purple/red. This material can be saturated when in larger sizes, but this rough averages just over 1 carat or so rough. This is ideal for accent stones. It will mostly cut 2mm to 5mm (a few larger) stones. This is just odds and ends from a parcel. These are mostly clean. It is priced very cheaply. This is ideal materail for cutting accent stones...

Rhodolite Garnets - $0.30/carat
Locality: Tanzania, Africa
The color of this material is pretty nice, a purple/red. This material can be saturated when in larger sizes, but this rough averages just over 2 carats rough, so the color will cut pretty nice. It will mostly cut 3mm to 6mm (a few larger) stones. This is just odds and ends from a parcel. These are mostly clean. It is priced very cheaply. This is ideal materail for cutting accent stones...

This material is just odds and ends left over. It is all tumbled so there will not be a lot of waste. It is pretty clean but there will be some typical Garnet type spots. The price is right.
Note: This material is not dark Garnet, it is basically Rhodolite, these will cut bright stones.

Color Change Garnets
Locality: Africa
These are color change and pretty rare as well as hard to get. Like most color change Garnets these are not large, They will cuts mostl 4mm to 6mm stones depending. The color change is pretty good on them and mostlt red/pink/purple/ to greenish.

Mali Garnets - $6/carat
Locality: Mali
The color of this material is nice as you can see in the picture. This is just odds and ends from a parcel. Note there are only 8 stones, these are mostly clean or will cut clean, but a couple have flaws.

Malaya Garnets - $1/carat
Locality: Kenya, Africa
The color of this material red/peach and they are not dark and will work well in most designs. The parcels are mixed and I have not clipped or cleaned them. There will be some spots and cracks on some, but most are pretty clean and will cut very nice stones. These are really nice cutting and good Garnets for any faceter new or experienced to work with.
