Note: I do not cut Tanzanite very often because I cannot get quality rough. The color of this material is called "Kombat" at the mine and is a little bluer than the regular purple material that is common. This material is purple on one axis and peacock blue on the other. The colors mix to make a beautiful stone. Tanzanite is a little tender and should be set so that it is protected. Notice that I have nicked the corners so that they are not too sharp to help them keep from chipping.Custom Gemstone Index
