Note: This stone is yellow with gold flashes, and is quite bright. Scapolite (1.56 refractive index) is not a well known stone, and is often over looked by commercial dealers. Scapolite will set and wear well in most jewelry with a little care. It is not as hard as some other stones and should be protected, which means it works best in a protected setting or a pendant. The sharp corners on this stone will be a little fragile... This will work well in most jewelry applications.Custom Gemstone Index
