Note: This stone is Top purple/blue/magenta color, it is very intense. This stone has a very strong color zone running from the tip of the stone through the center in a "V" shape. The color zone can be seen distinctly, depending on the angle of the stone. It gives this stone a very unique look, because the colors kind of move around and wink at you. This is a very pretty stone, the shape is a classic and one of my favorites. This will work well in most jewelry applications.

Note: This stone is not as pink as the pictures look, this design tends to mirror and reflect surrounding colors. It is a nice medium light stone with blue/purple/magenta flashes in it that are typical of quality Maraba Amethyst. This should be an easy stone to set, with the exception of needing a larger head (mounting).

Note: This is an usual cut and it is rather directional, but it is very pretty and has an unusual effect because of the design it was cut in. It is designed to be a geometric element and needs to be set with other stones. This will take some care in setting because of the sharp corners.

Note: This stone is top Uruguayan color, it is purple/blue with magenta/red shot thought it. This Amethyst will color shift quite a lot depending on what type of light the stone is viewed in. This is one of my favorites, it is not common. This will work well in most jewelry applications.

Note: This stone has a pretty definite color shift, depending on the light, in florescent it's royal blue (purple highlights) and goes to purple in incandescent light. This is pretty typical of what the Uruguayan Amethyst crystal points cut like and is a very saturated pretty stone. This will set and wear well in any jewelry.

Note: This is very typical of what this material cuts like. An Emerald cut tends to show the zoning a little bit, where a brilliant would mix it. This was a custom cut, so I had to do what the jeweler wanted (well I have to once and a while)...This Jeweler once told me, he (the jeweler) says what he would like, and then I do what I want anyway.
