Cutting Remarks

Shown at left is a 12.7 x 8.5mm deep ~ 6.38 carat "Amethyst Imperative " cut from top Brazilian Amethyst by Jeff Graham.

To cut this in Quartz, just add 2 degree to all of the pavilion tiers. This design cuts well in refractive indexes 1.62 (87.7%) to 2.14 with no changes. This is best in lightly saturated materials. The 4 sided shield shaped tier on the crown is interesting, it blinks depending on the light the stone is viewed under. This is a fun and pretty fast cut and good for anybody...

T-shirts are Haines 100% Cotton "Comfort Fit" (made in the USA). Like the man said "you can have any color as long as it's white with blue ink..."White with royal blue Ink (machine wash, no bleach, no iron on ink). Imprint of design is on the back of the shirt, name of design and logo on the frount left... (this design is only available on this T-shirt)
