Crystalube
A bottle of lube will last a long time, it is only necessary to use a couple of drops at a time.

When the polish lap seems to be too dry and you are getting too much heat build up add a drop or two.

This is also referred to as diamond extender, in case you were wondering. If you polish with diamonds you should have a bottle of this around for occasional use.

Slick Lubicant
This is ideal for all diamond cutting tools. It mixes 1 part Slick Lube to 10 parts water. It is a 100% synthetic coolant (no oil) and not only lubes saw blades but keeps cutting laps sharp and it also prevents rust.
