Re-dopping a stone... How do I do it?
How do I transfer a heat sensitive stone with super glue to a new dop?
How do I dop a heat sensitive stone with super glue?Note: These material are all industrial strength. Also note that the aerosol cans are considered a hazard and cannot be shipped.
Hot Stuff Super Glue
I personally use red/brown wax to dop with but a lot of people use super glue. I do use it once and a while to re glue a stone on a dop, or on a very small stone. I think that the thicker type of super glue is best, it helps fill gaps and is easier to use... I carry the 1/4 ounce bottle because super glue will dry out and actually a 1/4 ounce will go a long way when dopping stones.

Super Glue Accelerator
This makes the super glue set fast and I do recommend it. The way to use this is by putting a drop of super glue on your stone (or dop) and a drop of the accelerator on the the dop. Stick them together... That is it... you can start cutting pretty much immediately. A little of this goes a long way.
