Addition #11 - Sunstone
![]()
In this addition set I have created some unique designs and new approaches to working with Sunstone.
Sunstone, of course, refers to the colored variety of Feldspar found in the Northwestern USA. Sunstone is in the Feldspar family and while Feldspar is readily available about anywhere in the world, Sunstone is only found in a few areas.
Oregon, USA being the main mine locations. Because of it's optical properties and colors, Sunstone takes some special handling and cutting techniques to create a quality finished gemstone.
The majority of these designs can be cut in Refractive index 1.54 to 2.14 with NO CHANGES or tangent ratio adjusting. The designs in this addition have all been ray traced and proofed.
"Suntone - Addition # 11 " (42 designs) with all of the above is $17.95. The shipping usually takes 2-5 days depending on where.
Below are links to all of the designs in "Sunstone - Addition #11"
(Note: A lot of these designs can be cut in man-made materials also)E-mail to inquire or order: jeff @ faceters.com or jeff @ cabbers.com
