Instead of the tin lap for AeO2 polish I would recommend a Phenolic lap $57.60. For plishing hard stones instead of the 2 tin laps I would consider 2 Last laps $106.40.
Faceting Machine - You will need this to start. It will depend of course on what machine you choose to buy or have. I am currently recommending an OMNI faceting machine 8" $2383.00 complete or the Ultra Tec $3380.00 or the Digital UT $3980.00.
Extra Dops are a good idea, here is what I recommend:
Extra dop sets are often a good idea, your choices will depend some what on the manufacturer of your machine and what they may offer.Tourmaline Dops - Are long rectangle shaped dops for cutting rectangle stones.
I usually recommend a selectyion of standard dops between 3mm and 10mm (flat, vee, cone).Let me know if you have any questions or when you decide to buy the machine. There may be a couple of other things that you will want like some faceting rough...
Rose De France Quartz
Amethyst QuartzThere is lots of other rough, just ask...
